The Croatian Insurance Institute has established cooperation with The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) from London and has become an examination center for this prestigious insurance institution.
The Institute has been authorized to conduct the exams required to obtain the CII Certificate in Insurance. This certificate is perceived worldwide as proof of enviable and credible knowledge in the field of insurance. The exams for the certificate are conducted exclusively in English, on a specific date simultaneously around the world. There are no lectures for the exams; instead, literature and consultations with experts from London are provided to the registered candidates.
The first examination date that will actually be held, where interested insurers from Croatia can take the exam, is April 20, and applications for the exam are accepted until March 1. The London Institute of Insurance (The Chartered Insurance Institute) has been in existence for over a hundred years, currently operating in 150 countries worldwide and having nearly one hundred thousand members. This is the first time that employees in Croatian insurance can take the exam and obtain the CII certificate from this world-renowned educational institution for the insurance profession without going to London.
