The average monthly net salary paid per employee in legal entities in Croatia for November of last year amounted to 5,397 kuna, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics announced today.
On a monthly basis, compared to the average salary for October, the average net salary for November was higher by 134 kuna or nominally by 2.5 percent. However, a comparison on an annual basis, with the average monthly net salary for November 2007, shows that the average net salary per employee in legal entities for November of last year was higher by 266 kuna or nominally by 5.2 percent. According to preliminary data from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, the average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities in Croatia for November of last year amounted to 7,829 kuna. Compared to the previous month, this is an increase of 208 kuna or nominally by 2.7 percent. On an annual basis, compared to the same month last year, the average gross salary for last November was higher by 308 kuna or nominally by 4.1 percent. (H)
