The Director of the Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments, Slobodan Mikac, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Croatian Employers’ Association, Đuro Popijač, today signed a business cooperation agreement at a ceremonial event held at the premises of the Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments.
The purpose of this agreement is to further encourage and deepen mutual cooperation between the Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments and the Croatian Employers’ Association. This agreement does not mark the beginning of cooperation between these two long-standing partners but rather formalizes it, emphasized the Chief Executive Officer of the Croatian Employers’ Association, Đuro Popijač. As problems in the Croatian economy multiply and are influenced by a range of external and internal factors, from the global economic crisis to, more recently, the gas crisis, such cooperation serves to create better conditions for employers and investors. In the desire for the Croatian Employers’ Association to take a more proactive role in the Croatian economy, such initiatives will always be supported by the association, Popijač pointed out.
