Russian gas flows through the Croatian gas network again

After two weeks, Russian gas is flowing through Croatian pipelines again, reported Plinacro. According to data from the UMS (entry measurement station) Rogatec on the Croatian-Slovenian border, Plinacro has been taking 100 percent of the contracted gas quantities from Russia into the transport system of the Republic of Croatia since Tuesday at 5:00 PM.

The final agreement between Russian Prime Minister Putin and Ukrainian Prime Minister Tymoshenko has fully come into effect. Plinacro states that they have been informed by the dispatch centers of the Austrian OMW and Slovenian Geoplin Plinovod that Russian gas has reached them. The Croatian gas operator had the system under pressure, as did Slovenia and Austria, allowing them to establish gas imports as soon as the Austrians registered that Russian gas had entered their system from Slovak pipelines.
