The entry of natural gas from Russia into the transport system of the Republic of Croatia remains completely suspended, but starting from Saturday, gas from emergency imports is entering the Croatian transport system, reported the Ministry of Economy and Plinacro.
Starting from Saturday at 6 AM, 42,000 cubic meters of natural gas per hour is entering the transport system of the Republic of Croatia through the entry measurement station Rogatec, at the Croatian-Slovenian border. This is an emergency import lasting three days, secured by Ina d.d. from the German company EON-Ruhrgas.
Once again, regardless of the emergency import, it is reminded that as of 8 AM this morning, measures 5 and 6 from Article 6 of the Regulation on the Security of Natural Gas Supply are in effect. All energy entities and gas customers, except for protected customers, are obliged to act in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the Security of Natural Gas Supply, in order to ensure uninterrupted gas supply for protected customers (households, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and other institutions of special public importance).
In coordination with the Energy Directorate of the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Entrepreneurship and Ina d.d. as the gas supplier, Plinacro continues to continuously analyze and control the conditions in the system and monitors the implementation of prescribed measures for gas consumption restrictions.
