The Zagreb Stock Exchange is going through a relatively calm period in the first trading week, most likely because investors, like the rest of the population, are still on winter holidays. Therefore, there were not many interesting events on the domestic capital market today.

Croatian telecommunications recorded the highest turnover of 11.6 million kuna, and the price rose by 1.84 percent, closing at 211 kuna. This security was traded for 5.5 million kuna.

The construction sector mostly recorded losses today. Only Dalekovod ended the day in the plus by 0.17 percent (1.8 million kuna turnover), while other stocks in the sector experienced slight declines. IGH weakened by 0.99 percent (330 thousand kuna turnover), and Ingra by 2.12 percent (1.1 million kuna turnover).

The Medika stock, traded for 1.4 million kuna, is the only significant winner today. Medika closed trading with an increase of as much as 7.95 percent. Ina has finally paid the price due to the crisis of Russian-Ukrainian gas games, so with a turnover of 1.2 million kuna, the price of our largest oil company fell by 1.89 percent. The last “millionaire”, the privileged stock of Adrisa, recorded a price drop of 3.41 percent with a turnover of 1.1 million kuna. (Amir Kulenović*)
