Prime Minister Ivo Sanader today dismissed speculations about reshuffles in the Government and emphasized that the positions of Deputy Prime Ministers Jadranka Kosor and Damir Polančec have never been stronger.
"There are no reshuffles in the Government, there are no reconstructions in the Government," stated the Prime Minister at Banski dvori after a meeting with the heads of relevant ministries and representatives from INA, Plinacro, and HEP. Rejecting all speculations in certain media about the reshuffles of Deputy Prime Ministers Kosor and Polančec, he added that their positions have never been stronger than today. This, he emphasized, also applies to the Government spokesperson (Zlatko Mehuna). He assessed that the speculations about reshuffles are "spins from various sources," or that they involve "well-paid or creative spin doctors." (H)
