The Trade Guild of the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts (HOK) will request a delay from the Government and the relevant Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship regarding the ban on Sunday work at a press conference on Monday.
The Guild notes that the provisions of the Trade Act concerning the limitation and prohibition of Sunday work, in the current circumstances of the impending economic crisis, require a new amendment, i.e., the re-enabling of Sunday work to stimulate consumption as a driver for domestic production and service activities, as well as to preserve jobs.
