On the Zagreb Stock Exchange, the Crobex index is on an upward trajectory for the third consecutive day, and if there are no new negative news from the global economy, it is possible that the positive trend will be maintained until the end of the year.
Around 1 PM, the Crobex index stood at 1,738 points, šwhich is 0.31 percent higher than yesterday. The regular trading volume of shares exceeded 35 million kuna."After a negative opening, where it recorded a decrease of approximately 1 percent compared to yesterday’s closing, the Crobex index began its upward trajectory, thus continuing the positive trend from the beginning of the week", says Kristan Korunić, an investment advisor at the brokerage firm Šted-Kapital. He adds that today’s trading on the Zagreb Stock Exchange is highly correlated with trading on European exchanges.
After initial losses, the London FTSE index was up 0.1 percent around 1 PM, while the Frankfurt DAX and Paris CAC indices reduced their initial losses to just 0.6 percent. About one-third of the trading volume was achieved by the shares of Atlantska plovidba. Its price is up 8.91 percent, at 735.5 kuna. Following in trading volume is the share of Dalekovod, with a turnover of 4.9 million kuna. Its price is up 7.75 percent, at 364 kuna. The IGH share traded 3.2 million kuna, and its price increased by 3.68 percent, to 4,000 kuna. "In recent days, there has been a sense of stabilization in the stock market, partly due to the approaching end of the year, when efforts are made to ‘beautify’ the balances at least a little. If no new negative news comes from global markets, the continuation of the positive trend until the end of the year is possible," concludes Korunić. (H)
