At the mere signs of recovery in the shipping sector, the most liquid domestic stock in the industry literally exploded with liquidity and price increase. Crobex rose by 3.44 percent today with a total turnover of a solid 42 million kuna.
In addition to Atlantska plovidba, shares of construction companies also saw significant growth. The share of Atlantska plovidba accounted for almost a quarter of today’s turnover. Whether due to yesterday’s press conference where the company’s management emphasized that it expects a profit of 150 million dollars or due to the strengthening of the BDI index for bulk cargo, this share rose by a high 11.92 percent today with a total turnover of 10.8 million kuna. Besides Atlantska, another shipping share that stood out today was that of the Split-based Jadroplov, which increased by 7.84 percent (1.6 million kuna turnover). Besides shipping companies, it was also a good day for shares of construction firms. IGH rose by 4.45 percent (2.5 million kuna turnover), Dalekovod by 8.44 percent (2.3 million kuna turnover), and Ingra by 7.21 percent (2.1 million kuna turnover).
The HT share was traded for a total of 4.1 million kuna, with a price increase of 0.26 percent, closing at 195.5 kuna. The preferred share of Adrisa collected 4.3 million kuna in turnover with a price increase of 2.25 percent.
The share of Ina had a total turnover of 1.8 million kuna today with a price increase of 2.95 percent, closing at 1,292 kuna. Ericsson Nikola Tesla was traded for a total of 1.7 million kuna with a price increase of 3.25 percent.
Judging by the turnovers and the overall green on the stock exchange, it seems that the pre-holiday shopping season has also begun in the capital market. However, how long the positive sentiments will last depends on the unfolding situation in global markets. (Amir Kulenović)
