The award from the Dr. Marijan Hanžeković Foundation, worth 50,000 kuna, was awarded to Ivo Krznar and Ana Marija Čeh from the Croatian National Bank.
The award has been given for ten years in two categories, regular and student, but this year it was not awarded for student works because, allegedly, they were not of sufficient quality. For the first time, a larger award of 50,000 kuna was given; in previous years, it was 15,000. Interestingly, Ivo Krznar has already received an award from the Foundation, but for a student work.
