Samoborski gardens, a project for a new residential neighborhood to be built near Samobor, was presented at today’s press conference organized by the investors.
These are Atia group, an international company engaged in real estate development, and the construction company PORR Croatia, part of the Austrian group of the same name. Both companies are already well-known in the Croatian market. PORR participates in a number of infrastructure and other construction projects, while Atia Group has been involved in the family housing projects Villa Park and Villa Del Mar in Istria. The total investment in the construction of the neighborhood, which will have 320 houses and will span eight hectares, is 60 million euros. The investors share it evenly at a ratio of 50:50 percent. The start of construction, which is expected to last a year and a half, is anticipated by the investors for the autumn of 2009. The sale of houses and apartments has been entrusted to Kastel real estate. Its head, Dubravko Ranilović, says that the main type of house of 130 square meters will be sold for 200,000 euros, and the price will increase to 250,000 euros depending on the area and equipment. The price of apartments will range from 80,000 to 150,000 euros. The Vice President of Atia Group for Europe, Shalom Atia, says these are favorable prices because buyers will be able to purchase a four-bedroom house with a garden near the city for the price of a three-bedroom apartment in the wider center of Zagreb.
