One should not stop investing in marketing during a recession. It is like stopping a clock and thinking that you are saving time – this is the message from the father of guerrilla marketing, Jay Conrad Levinson, who gave a lecture on guerrilla marketing strategies in Zagreb on Tuesday that can lead to significant profits with minimal investments.
At the conference organized by Moving Board and Triple S Learning, Levinson explained that guerrilla marketing is simple, but requires patience and time. He emphasized that contacts are the key to success in guerrilla marketing and presented tactics for online marketing, revealed how to achieve success through guerrilla marketing attacks, and explained the characteristics common to successful marketing directors.
– A consumer must hear the advertiser’s message nine times before buying a product, but the problem is that if you send the message three times, the consumer only receives it once – Levinson said, adding that it is essential to be committed to the plan, invest, be consistent, create a sense of trust with consumers, be patient, connect with partners, and take action, i.e., implement what has been learned.
