Honda in Croatia Increased Sales by 124 Percent

Despite the global financial crisis and the stock market crash, it seems that Croatian citizens are not hesitating to spend money. They have not been deterred by the unusually high fuel prices.

In the first ten months of this year, Honda has increased the sales of its SUV, the Honda CR-V, by 124 percent. An SUV is a designation for an off-road vehicle, and it is known that they consume more fuel than other passenger cars. However, this does not involve large quantities of sold vehicles; in the first ten months of this year, 280 vehicles of this type were sold, compared to 125 units in the same period last year. Regardless of how you look at it, Croatians at least in the first ten months of this year have not paid attention to the financial crisis or the high oil prices. (Ante Livajić)
