Željko Starčević at the Helm of Shipyard 3. maj

The Supervisory Board of Shipyard 3. maj d.d. today unanimously revoked the previous Management Board and appointed Željko Starčević as the new CEO, along with Vladimir Jardas, who will be responsible for production, and Edi Kučan, who will oversee production preparation at the shipyard.

At the same time, during the meeting, the former CEO Tomislav Prpić and members Branko Sužberić, Branka Juričev, and Nenad Škarica, who had been at the helm of the Shipyard for two years, were dismissed. The Supervisory Board appointed the new Management Board at the proposal of the recently elected CEO of the Shipbuilding Industry 3. maj d.d. (which manages six companies within the 3. maj Group) Željko Starčević, who was given the mandate to propose a new composition of the Shipyard Management Board. Namely, at the head of the Shipbuilding Industry, Starčević recently replaced Tomislav Prpić, who, like Starčević now, was also the CEO of both the Shipbuilding Industry and Shipyard 3. maj. As stated by the Public Relations Office of 3. maj, the newly appointed members are long-time employees of 3. maj. (H)
