The author of the free domestic system for tracking the capital market and personal investment portfolio ePortfelj.com, the company Initium Futuri, has decided to open a programming interface for creating ePortfolio add-ons.
ePortfolio already, in addition to displaying information via the website www.eportfelj.com, has add-ons for Yahoo Widget, Vista Gadget, RSS, and a mobile-friendly display. This move allows users to create their own add-ons that can distribute data about the user’s portfolio from the ePortfolio system. „Given the many inquiries from our users to create an application for iPhone, Windows mobile, Google Gadget, and similar, we decided to publicly release the data necessary for the development of such add-ons and hope that users with basic programming knowledge will be able to show their creativity and create their own add-ons.“ says Ivan Padavić, head of the development lab.
Everything needed to create your own ePortfolio add-ons, besides basic programming knowledge, is to „download“ the development documentation from the eportfelj.com site and send a request to [email protected] to obtain the so-called application ID with which you will be able to access the development interface.
