Roses Fashion Outlet Center with 80 stores covering 21,000 square meters, invested by the Austrian Dayland Group, was opened tonight in Sv. Križ Začretje, and the first customers will be able to stroll through the shops starting Saturday morning.
The first outlet center in Croatia is located along the Zagreb – Krapina highway. In the fall of 2010, as part of the second phase of expansion, the investor intends to open an additional 45 stores. The total investment value is 50 million euros. More than 100 of the world’s most renowned fashion brands will be represented in the 80 stores. These products will be offered with permanent discounts ranging from 30 to 70 percent.
The project is designed in a ‘Village’ style with differently shaped houses housing restaurants and cafes, and a special feature is a children’s playground covering 1,000 square meters. Outlet centers are a concept that allows a wider range of customers to procure well-known global brands at more favorable prices. Outlet centers (so-called Factory Outlet Centers – FOC) are usually located along highways near larger cities and gravitate towards densely populated urban areas with good transportation infrastructure.
