The day before what is likely the most important election for the American president in the last few decades, the most popular news channel, American CNN, aired a segment showcasing the views of countries from the region on how the election of a new president will reflect on the countries of the former state. One of the interlocutors was the spokesperson for the Zagreb Stock Exchange, Željko Kardum.
-I believe that this election is extremely important because it concerns the future of the largest economy in the world, and the result will significantly impact economic trends, and consequently, Croatia – said Željko Kardum in a short segment that aired this morning on CNN. Although it was during a time when most of the U.S. is asleep, the viewership that the segment achieved on such an important day is certainly several dozen times greater than that which the stock exchange spokesperson has every week commenting on stock trading in the weekly HTV show.
