Atlantska plovidba increased by 6.39 percent

Investors were cautious today, and trading volume was very low. A total of only 41.7 million kuna worth of shares were traded, of which a quarter was attributed to HT. On an exceptionally slow day at the stock exchange, only eight shares had a turnover exceeding one million kuna.

The largest increase was recorded by Atlantska plovidba. The stock index  today rose by 1.35 percent, closing at 2,221 points. On the eve of the elections in the USA, even the financial reports, which literally poured in throughout the day, did not encourage investors to engage in more active trading. The most liquid was the HT share with a turnover of 10.9 million kuna and a price increase of 1.16 percent, closing at 229.5 kuna. Following it with 5.4 million kuna is Atlantska plovidba, which is today’s winner. Despite the further decline of the BDI index, this share increased by a significant 6.39 percent today.

Their sector colleague, Tankerska plovidba, today rose by 3.87 percent with a turnover of one million kuna. The share of Ina was traded for a total of 5.3 million kuna with a price decrease of 0.79 percent. The construction sector can be considered a winner today if we look at the sectoral price growth. IGH is up by 6.27 percent (3.2 million kuna turnover), Ingra by 4.18 percent (1.7 million kuna turnover), and Dalekovod by  5.08 percent (2.3 million kuna turnover).

The share of Ericssona Nikole Tesle was traded for a total of 1.8 million kuna with a price increase of three percent. Lastly, among the ‘millionaires’, we should highlight the share of Petrokemija, which recorded a price decrease of 0.42 percent with a turnover of 1.2 million kuna. Despite the fact that quite a few companies published quarterly reports today, there was no rush for any of those shares. Trading in the USA also started mildly today, as if tomorrow’s elections are a turning point awaited by all market players.   (Amir Kulenović)
