The police tonight released footage from the CCTV in Nacional’s courtyard showing a man in a helmet who drove a scooter with an explosive device and who is one of the two individuals involved in the murder of Ivo Pukanić and Nike Franjić, said Krunoslav Borovec, the head of the police directorate’s office, at an extraordinary press conference this evening.
The police distributed CDs with the footage and a photograph to journalists, and urged citizens to report to the police at the special phone number 01/4563 287 if they recognize the perpetrator based on the physical build and clothing of the man in the footage or have any useful information. Borovec stated that the person in this footage undoubtedly participated in the assassination and added that a composite sketch of the first perpetrator has already been released. (H)
