At a press briefing held at the Commercial Court in Zagreb, the project Day of Open Commercial Courts was presented and the Week of Court Settlements at commercial courts was announced.
These projects are being presented for the second consecutive year, and today citizens and organized groups were able to visit the High Commercial Court and 13 commercial courts in Croatia to gain insight into the work performed by judges and officials. At the briefing, Mirjana Čačić, Director of the Civil Law Directorate at the Ministry of Justice, Srđan Šimac, President of the High Commercial Court of the Republic of Croatia, Nevenka Marković, President of the Commercial Court in Zagreb, and Vincent Degert, Head of the European Commission Delegation in Zagreb, spoke about the importance of implementing the Day of Open Commercial Courts and the Week of Court Settlements at commercial courts, which are being held for the second consecutive year. The Week of Court Settlements at commercial courts will last from October 27 to 31, and these projects also mark the European Day of Civil Justice, which is celebrated every year on October 25 in the European Union.
