The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa) has approved FIMA Group to publish an offer for the acquisition of the Rovinj company for catching, processing, and trading fish and fish products, Mirna, at a price of 17 kuna per share.
According to Hanfa’s decision published today, the obligation to publish the acquisition offer for FIMA Group arose in August of this year, when the group acquired a 23.55 percent stake in Mirna based on a written Statement of Transfer of Shares. This Statement, it is added in the decision, represents the fulfillment of the obligation undertaken by the Agreement on Settlement of Claims, concluded on March 18, 2004, between FIMA and the company Dalta d.d. Zagreb. Following the acquisition of this ownership stake, FIMA Group increased its share to 282,718 or 76.82 percent of Mirna’s shares. Among other things, Hanfa also approved the prospectus for the listing of shares of the company Božjakovina on the public stock exchange of the Zagreb Stock Exchange at this week’s meeting. (H)
