The Adris Foundation today held a special ceremony in Zagreb for the recipients of the Foundation’s funds awarded based on the competition announced in April this year.
Alongside the recipients, members of the Foundation’s Board and Councils were present, as well as the manager of the Adris Foundation, Zvonimir Mareković, and the CEO of the Adris Group, Anto Vlahović. A total of 593 applications were submitted for the competition, and the Management and Council selected 59 institutions and individuals whose projects will be co-financed and funded. In this round of the competition, a total of over five million kuna will be awarded for programs in Knowledge and Discovery, Creativity, Ecology and Heritage, Kindness, and Scholarships (for students as well as undergraduate and doctoral studies).
According to the words of the President of the Foundation’s Management and manager of the Adris Foundation, Zvonimir Mareković, modern companies today are an essential part of society, and their responsibility is reflected not only towards employees and shareholders but also towards the wider community. – The potentials of the Foundation will enable us to contribute much more personally to the betterment of Croatia: Croatia of knowledge, excellence, creativity, preservation of heritage, and environmental protection, above all kindness – said Mareković.
The CEO of the Adris Group emphasizes that awareness of responsibility towards the community is the foundation of the Adris Group’s business. The Adris Foundation operates completely independently, and the quality of work, transparency, and openness are guaranteed by the honorable people who make up its Management. – Despite unfavorable times, this is our contribution to a better and more beautiful Croatia – concluded Vlahović (O.
