The investor in the Roses Fashion Outlet center in Sveti Križ Začretje, the Austrian Dayland group, announced today that it will open the center on November 8 along the A2 Zagreb – Krapina highway with approximately 80 stores, into which 30 million euros have been invested so far.
The center will create nearly 1,000 jobs, and in the fall of 2010, as part of the second phase of expansion with an additional investment of around 20 million euros, 45 new stores will open, the statement said. Among the brands that will be represented in the center are Sisley, Benetton, Puma, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Max Mara, Manga, Timberland, Diesel, and others. Products from these and other brands will be offered with permanent discounts of 30 to 70 percent.
The project is designed in a ‘Village’ style with differently shaped houses housing restaurants and cafes, and a special feature is a children’s playground covering 1,000 square meters. Outlet centers are a concept that allows a wider range of customers to purchase well-known global brands at more favorable prices. Outlet centers (so-called Factory Outlet Centers – FOC) are most often located along highways near larger cities and gravitate towards densely populated urban areas with good traffic infrastructure.
