Croatian innovators achieved a new significant success at the 12th participation in the British Invention Show (BIS), which has just concluded in London – nine Croatian innovation exhibits were awarded 10 valuable prizes by the International Jury – a platinum medal, double gold, as well as three gold, three silver, and two bronze medals, announced the Croatian Inventors Association.
The most successful Croatian innovator at this year’s BIS was Rosa Ferinčević from Zagreb, who received a platinum medal and two gold medals for “Acidosalus toothpaste 3 in 1.” Mirjana Brlečić won double gold for the cosmetic collection branded “Nikel.”
The most successful exhibit in terms of media promotion was the “Fan Chair” for football fans, created by young Split inventors Dine Petrić and Jurij Krstinić, which was reported on in the Sunday edition of the “Daily Mail,” and features about this invention have already been published by BBC and ITV. With such promotion, the Croatian Inventors Association believes that commercial success is very likely, as the exhibition piece has already been sold, and the gold medal from BIS will further assist in its commercialization.
