At the jubilee 35th international furniture, interior design, and related industries fair – Ambienta, which will be held at the Zagreb Fair from October 14 to 19, 744 exhibitors from 31 countries will present their latest products, services, and technologies from this sector, it was announced at ZV.
On behalf of Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, the 35th Ambienta will be opened by Petar Čobanković, Minister of Regional Development, Forestry, and Water Management. According to Ivica Grabac, the president of the Organizing Committee, the business club, or traditional discussions of entrepreneurs from the wood sector with government representatives, will attract significant attention.
– The theme that will characterize our industry in the coming years is the development of the competitiveness of the Croatian wood sector.
Our furniture, as well as other wood products abroad, are considered to be of very high quality, and everyone I have spoken to at various fairs and congresses around the world says that we need to work on the design and branding of our products. We also need to think globally and implement new technologies in the processing sector – said Grabac.
This year’s Ambienta will take place in six thematic units, and numerous visitors will be able to see and purchase furniture for living spaces, kitchens and bathrooms, office furniture, equipment for interior construction, various raw materials, as well as machines and tools necessary for equipping spaces on more than 50 thousand square meters in 18 pavilions.
