Splitska banka has secured 100 million euros for new housing loans, which will be offered starting today under the name “Stanko,” the bank announced, noting that the funds for these loans have been secured “despite the crisis in global financial markets, which has made it increasingly difficult to obtain a housing loan.”
These loans are intended for the purchase of an apartment, a second apartment, or a weekend house, for construction and renovation, as well as for refinancing an existing housing loan, with interest rates varying depending on the specific purpose of the loan, starting from 5.95 percent. For example, for property adaptations, for which a repayment period of up to 20 years is planned, Splitska banka offers a cash payout of the entire amount without requiring invoices for construction work. Additionally, builders are provided with the option of pledging properties under construction, with phased payouts and construction supervision. (H)
