Tifon launches new fuels and a new marketing strategy

Today in Zagreb, the company Tifon presented a new marketing strategy and new premium fuels that are coming to the market under the new brand Tifon Class.

Tomas Gabor, the director of Tifon, announced that the company will continue to develop its network of gas stations and that the new marketing strategy will aim to reach an even larger number of customers. Tifon will align its fuel prices with other market players, making their Eurosuper 95 BS and Eurodiesel BS fuels priced at 8.62 kuna and 8.72 kuna, respectively, more competitive. The new products, Eurosuper 95 Class and Eurodiesel Class, fall into the so-called premium fuels and their prices will be higher.

Eurosuper 95 Class will cost 8.70 kuna, while Eurodiesel Class will be 8.82 kuna. As of January 1, 2009, the EU will implement the EURO 5 fuel quality standard, and Tifon has decided to adapt its offering to the new market conditions by selling Tifon Class fuels at all its stations. Vlatko Skočilić, the technical director of Tifon, presented the new fuels, stating that they are high-quality Euro 5 products with additives that improve fuel characteristics by preventing wear on certain engine parts, ensuring corrosion protection, and preventing fuel aging.

– In this way, the engine’s lifespan is extended, the fuel distribution system is cleaned and maintained, the combustion space and surfaces in contact with fuel are kept clean, power is increased, acceleration is improved, and consumption and emissions of harmful gases are reduced – said Skočilić. Additionally, the diesel fuel additive package contains a combustion improvement additive, resulting in less engine sluggishness, better idle performance, lower noise, and easier cold starts, especially at low temperatures.
