Ina Reduces Jet Fuel Deliveries to Airports

Croatian airports have received notification from Ina regarding a reduction in jet fuel deliveries due to a malfunction at the Rijeka Oil Refinery. Ina states that deliveries of this fuel have only been partially reduced, but only for those airlines that have the option of alternative refueling at foreign airports.

– We received notification from Ina about the malfunction at the Rijeka refinery, which has led to a reduction in jet fuel production, but there will be no flight cancellations as a result. According to information from Ina, emergency imports of jet fuel have been initiated – explained Miroslav Drljača, the director of the traffic sector at Zagreb Airport, to Lider. Due to the situation, airlines are advised to refuel for the return flight at the departure point. For planes flying to Russia and Scandinavia that cannot refuel sufficiently at the departure point, there will be no supply issues, claim officials at Zagreb Airport. (Ante Livajić)
