Dalekovod has secured the contract for equipping the Rijeka bypass on the section from Orehovica interchange to Diračje interchange, spanning 8.8 kilometers, valued at 376 million kuna, as announced by the company. The works include the procurement and installation of electrical equipment for the route and tunnels, a 110 kilovolt cable overhead line, and noise protection barriers.
The completion of the works is expected by June 1, 2009, which will finally complete the Rijeka bypass, one of the most congested road routes, significantly alleviating access to the city center, as stated in the announcement from Dalekovod.
