Templeton Strategic Emerging Food acquired 101,214 shares of Magma

The Templeton Strategic Emerging Food Fund acquired 101,214 shares of Magma last Monday based on a Share Transfer Agreement between the CEO Goranko Fižulić, the Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board Biserka Preininger Fižulić, and the Fund itself, according to today’s statement from Magma delivered to the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

This fund acquired shares of Magma based on a Share Transfer Agreement concluded on March 28, 2007, and a Non-Cash Claim Security Agreement through the transfer of ownership of shares dated April 4 of last year, that is, before Magma was listed on the stock exchange. The Fund thus acquired 44,060 shares from Goranko Fižulić and the same number of shares from Biserka Preininger Fižulić, as well as 13,094 shares from the East European Food Fund SICAF. The statement further emphasizes that Magma believes this is not a release of shares that must be announced under the Securities Market Act and the Rules of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, as the transfer was executed based on a legal transaction concluded before the shares were listed on the exchange. However, Magma decided to inform the Exchange about this event as it may be of interest to Magma’s shareholders.
