Nine-Month Profit of 7.3 Million Kuna

Slatinska banka achieved nearly 7.3 million kuna in net profit in the first nine months of this year, which is slightly more than in the same period last year. This year, they say, both interest and other bank revenues continued to grow.

The bank’s assets increased to 948 million kuna in the past part of the year. Total deposits of the bank also increased by nearly eight percent, reaching 707 million kuna in nine months. Total placements, however, recorded slightly lower growth, reaching 548 million kuna by the end of September, with lending to citizens growing at somewhat higher rates.
This year’s continuation of stable and successful operations has also reflected, they say at the bank, in the rise of prices of their regular shares. Namely, in October of this year, the price of regular shares on the Zagreb Stock Exchange ‘jumped’ by 35 percent, to the current 470 kuna.

Moreover, the price of regular shares, primarily due to high interest from domestic and foreign investors for acquiring one of the few remaining domestic banks, has more than doubled in just a year and a half. Slatinska banka is constantly expanding its own business network. Recently, they opened two new units: a branch in Ilok and a representative office in Bribir. The now extensive business network, through which they offer a wide range of products and services, consists of 16 branches and 13 representative offices across Croatia. (Nikola Prskalo)
