Ericsson Nikola Tesla Records 25 Percent Lower Profit

The company Ericsson Nikola Tesla achieved a net profit of 105.86 million kuna in the first nine months of this year, which is a 25 percent lower profit compared to the same period last year, according to the financial report of the company published on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

In the explanation of the business results, it is stated that it is difficult to compare the profit achieved in the first nine months of this year with the same period last year. Namely, in 2006, the company had one-time extraordinary income from insurance due to a fire that occurred in 2005, amounting to 36.6 million kuna, which results in greater deviations in the results. The lower profit was also influenced by the costs of granting treasury shares as part of the company’s employee reward program amounting to 14 million kuna. Earnings per share in the first nine months amount to 80.58 kuna, while in the same period last year it was 106.89 kuna.

Business revenues increased from 1.22 billion kuna to 1.28 billion kuna. Revenues from domestic sales and revenues from foreign sales also recorded growth.
