Pag cheese, Sinjska alka, Hvar lace, bell ringers, or picokijada. All of these are local cultural and gastronomic phenomena that could soon be included on the UNESCO list of intangible goods being prepared by the Ministry of Culture.
We are not even aware that this is something specific to Croatia, which does not exist elsewhere", emphasizes Minister of Culture Božo Biškupić. The list of intangible cultural goods should also include Slavonian kulen, gingerbread, licitar heart, and Slavonian bećarac, with which Croatia will present itself at the World Festival of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Japan, it was reported in HRT news.
