The decline of numerous stocks in the capital market and Crobex by one percent is primarily the result of external factors. Specifically, the crisis that emerged some time ago in the American market, related to subprime mortgage bonds, has deepened again, and the domestic market has felt its impact, says PBZ Invest analyst Silvana Milić.
The Dow Jones index fell again on Friday, and today the Chinese stock indices were also corrected. Therefore, the result of today’s correction in the domestic market is very likely the result of foreign investors withdrawing. Currently, the greatest expectations are around the Fed’s moves, which, according to announcements, should lower the reference interest rate in order to prevent a larger recession in the market. Milić believes that today’s decline in the market should not be an indication of greater disturbances in the market and that the domestic market has growth potential. (L. K.)
