Unique Price of Services and Calls

In the manner of Coppola’s Godfather, the mobile operator Tele 2 today presented a new offer and announced the introduction of the first unique price of services at 0.49 kuna.

With a new marketing campaign featuring characters like Sonny, Tony, and Don, Johan Granlund, CEO of Tele2 Croatia, Slavko Gazić, Director of Marketing and Sales, and Johnny Svedberg, Vice President of Tele2 AB, dressed as mobsters presented the latest offer which they claim is the cheapest on the market. Starting tomorrow, calls within and outside the network will cost 49 lipa, and for that same price, users will be able to send MMS messages, transfer data, and purchase mobile content, while SMS messages will cost 29 lipa. As Johan Granlund emphasized, the goal is to increase the number of users from half a million to one million and strengthen the market position.
– Direct access has brought us to where we are now, and we decided to take a step further. We are sending three ‘guardians’ to the Croatian market to protect it from excessively high prices – concluded Granlund. (S. B.)
