A very intense trading week ended with a 1.1% increase for the Crobex index and a final 5368 points (+58 points), with 18 stocks in the index declining and 13 rising. IGH rose 16% on a weekly basis, adding nearly 40 points to the index.
Following it is Viadukt, which added 27 points to the index and rose 18% on a weekly basis. The stock of Tehnika, with a growth of nearly 11%, and Dalekovod at 7.8%, each added 20 points. Tankerska plovidba also grew at double-digit rates, specifically 13.5%.
Optimism in the Croatian market, however, could not prevent a 5.9% drop in the stock of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, whose Swedish parent company suffered from poor results this week, losing nearly 30%. Ina, with its 11% share in Crobex, also took away 20 points from the index, although its decline on a weekly basis was only 3.2%. The biggest loser from the index is Privredna banka, with a 7.19% drop, while last week’s winner Đuro Đaković fell by 2.6%.
As I mentioned, the week was very intense, with several stocks trading daily with volumes exceeding 10 million kuna (let’s remember the summer drought when no stock could reach 5 million kuna in turnover), HT was the stock with the highest daily turnover (the maximum was 65 million on Monday). Following were IGH, Atlantska plovidba, and Dalekovod. IGH recorded turnovers above 20 million kuna for two consecutive days and was almost as actively traded as HT.
