Ambienta, the international furniture fair, awarded prizes this year for the quality of Mobil optimum products for the most successfully designed and technologically crafted products, as well as recognitions for marketing performance and the best ambient display.
The Special Award for the Highest Level of Overall Performance was awarded by the Jury to the Sector for Agriculture, Food Industry, and Forestry of HGK. The Golden Plaque and diploma Mobil optimum 2007 were awarded to four exhibitors: Bernarda from Puščina for mattress quality, Zagreb’s Eduro for built-in wardrobes, Finvest from Čabar for seating sets, and Slovenia’s Svea Lesna Industry for the development of kitchen sets. The recognition for the best ideas in presentation was awarded to Prelog’s Hespo, and the most successful ambient display was by Textum from Viškovo.
The President of the Jury, Prof. Ivica Grbac, emphasized that this year’s Ambienta is much richer in content, Croatian design is more vibrant, and manufacturers are increasingly competitive, making the Jury members’ task difficult, but he believes they made good choices. (Renato Đurđević)
