The German chain of retail stores for building materials and home equipment, Bauhaus, will open its first store in Hungary on Thursday. The investment costs for the sales area of 20,000 square meters, which will be opened in the northern part of Budapest, amounted to approximately 2.5 billion forints (9.98 million euros), stated Robert Karcagi, the sales director of the Hungarian branch of Bauhaus.
In December, a second Bauhaus sales space will also be opened, this time in the southern part of Budapest. Over the next 10 years, Baumarkt plans to open another 20 stores in Hungary, reports the Hungarian news agency MTI. (H)
