HSS-HSLS Coalition: We Want to Prevent the Flow of Our Money to Zagreb

The president of HSLS, Đurđa Adlešić, emphasized today at a press conference of the HSS-HSLS coalition that these two parties started their campaign yesterday from Zagreb, but will not finish it in the capital like the first two parties (HDZ and SDP) who believe that everything should remain in Zagreb.

She stressed that the HSS-HSLS coalition offers a different model that seeks to return part of the money earned in a particular area back there. "We will insist on preventing the flow of our money to Zagreb, as we believe this creates damage to Zagreb, whose municipal infrastructure cannot bear additional burdens, and we cannot tolerate that the money earned here goes there," said Adlešić. She added that they will also ask the new government, in which she believes their coalition will be included, to retain part of the money at the local level where it was earned.

She expressed confidence that their list will be the best in the II electoral district, where, according to IRI research, the HSLS-HSS coalition has about 20 percent, which they are not satisfied with, as they believe they can do better. Especially because the coalition candidates live in that area, unlike candidates from some other parties who can be called tourists, as they only come during the election campaign, said Adlešić.

The vice president of HSS, Damir Bajs, stated among other things that the HSS-HSLS coalition is also seeking a debate on agriculture and that it is the only coalition that has its own program on agriculture. (Hina)
