Vaba Bank Listed on the Public Joint Stock Companies Quotation of the ZSE

The shares of Vaba Bank Varaždin have today been included in the Quotation of Public Joint Stock Companies of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, as announced by Vaba Bank. Vaba Bank Varaždin has 1,533,550 shares with a nominal value of 100 kuna.

According to the ownership positions, it currently has 480 shareholders, with the top seven holding approximately 78 percent of the equity capital. Employees participate in the ownership structure with 2.5 percent. The largest individual shareholder is FIMA Validus, with a stake of 33.75 percent. This is followed by the investment fund Balkan Financial Sector Equity Fund with 19.04 percent, FIMA Grupa d.d. with 10.98 percent, Nikomat d.o.o. with 5 percent, the Guarantee Agency of Varaždin County with 4.95 percent, the City of Varaždin with 2.51 percent, and Croatia osiguranje with 2.41 percent.

According to Vaba Bank data, its balance sheet as of September 30 this year exceeded one billion kuna, and a profit of 1.5 million kuna is planned by the end of the year. Through a recapitalization at the end of August, the bank’s equity capital was increased by 91 million kuna, now amounting to 153 million kuna, while the guarantee capital exceeds 180 million kuna. The bank operates through four financial centers – in Varaždin, Zagreb, Pula, and Slavonski Brod, as well as 12 branches in Varaždin, Čakovec, Ludbreg, Krapina, Pula, Zagreb, Sisak, Slavonski Brod, and Nova Gradiška. The next goal of Vaba Bank related to the Zagreb Stock Exchange is to be listed on the Official Market, the bank representatives say.  (H)
