The agreement on co-financing the extension of the dock in Cres port, valued at a total of 9.5 million kuna, was signed today by the Assistant Minister for Islands Josip Borić, the Director of the Port Authority in Cres Anđelko Petrinić, and the Mayor Gaetano Negovetić.
This project will extend the main dock in Cres by 60 meters and will provide better docking conditions in the port, especially for larger ships and cruise liners. The Ministry of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development will allocate seven million kuna for the extension of the dock, the Port Authority two million kuna, and the city of Cres 500,000 kuna.
The deadline for the completion of the works is April next year. (Hina)
