Trading volume five times lower than on Friday, price dropped by 6.78 percent

On the second day of trading, the total turnover of Hrvatski Telekom shares amounted to 48 million kuna. Although the day started with a price drop to 358 kuna, further trading raised the price to an average level of 363.60 kuna per share. The last price at 4 PM was 366.50 kuna.

The price range traded was from 358 for the lowest to 372 kuna for the highest price at which it was traded. Approximately 133 thousand shares changed hands today, which is almost five times less than on the first day of the stock’s listing on the exchange.

On the London Stock Exchange, the turnover was slightly higher than on Monday, while the price movement was a bit more conservative than in Zagreb. Thus, 141,073 shares were traded in a range from 69.40 to 71 dollars, representing a decrease of 2.54 percent compared to Monday. On both days of the new week, the total turnover in London was about ten times lower than on Friday, when 1.6 million shares changed hands.

It is evident that the initial euphoria has subsided and that both buyers and sellers are somewhat strategizing and testing the waters, so the price fluctuations were not as significant as on Friday. The closing price at which it was traded was 364.10 kuna, representing a decrease of 6.78 percent compared to Friday.   Amir Kulenović
