The French bank for promoting international trade with Arab world countries, Unio da Banques Arabes et Francaises – U.B.A.F., will open its representative office in Zagreb on Tuesday.
The Zagreb office will cover the area from Poland to Turkey, and from Croatia to Ukraine and Kazakhstan, with Zagreb chosen for its excellent position in the center of this region.
UBA’s activities primarily consist of trade financing, project financing, Islamic banking, and capital market activities. The opening ceremony of the representative office will be attended, as announced, by the President of the Republic, Stjepan Mesić. (Hina)
