A new multiplex cinema in Novi Zagreb will open on Friday, October 19, at the Avenue Mall shopping and entertainment center, announced the company Blitz-CineStar today.
CineStar-Novi Zagreb will be one of the largest and technically most equipped multiplex cinemas in Croatia and the region. This multiplex spans 3,500 square meters with nine cinema halls, a total capacity of around 1,900 seats. According to announcements from Blitz film & video, more than 130 premieres of foreign and domestic films are planned to be screened annually at the Novi Zagreb multiplex.
The new CineStar will offer some new unique services already known to the wider public. The new multiplex will provide a long-awaited refreshment in the cultural and entertainment life of Novi Zagreb, an area of the city with over 120,000 inhabitants, Blitz-CineStar announced. The company notes that the opening of CineStar in Novi Zagreb will complete the multiplex offering in Zagreb.
It also announces that the opening ceremony of the Novi Zagreb multiplex will be held in a glamorous film spirit, with numerous domestic guests, members of the social and film elite, and the arrival of internationally recognized individuals is possible. The latest multiplex CineStar – Novi Zagreb is the result of a joint investment by the company Blitz-CineStar, founded by the film distributor Blitz film & video distribution, and the largest German cinema exhibitor CineStar.
Blitz-CineStar has been known to the Croatian public for three years as the company that owns the first and largest Croatian multiplex CineStar Zagreb, located within the Branimir center. (Hina)
