“Kapital Network” has started broadcasting via satellite

The first Croatian business television “Kapital Network” has recently begun broadcasting its program via satellite, the television announced today. The intention is for the program of this television to be available not only in the cable and IPTV (internet protocol television) systems in Croatia but also in the region.

The first steps will be made towards neighboring markets in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Montenegro, where “Kapital Network” will enter cable distribution, according to the announcement. Kapital Network started broadcasting a little over a year ago (May 2006). This television has had a 24-hour program from the beginning, consisting of business news every full hour, followed by other business information and analyses, as well as general news from the country, region, and the world.

“We want to grow from a Croatian media brand to a regional one by the end of this year,” states, among other things, the announcement from “Kapital Network”. (Hina)
