Sanda Cvitešić appointed director of RBA Branch Karlovac

Sanda Cvitešić is the new director of the Karlovac Branch of Raiffeisenbank Austria d.d. (RBA). She assumed this position after spending her entire career at Karlovačka banka, where she held various positions, including that of CEO from 2000 to 2005.

Sanda Cvitešić was born in 1955 in Karlovac, and in 1974 she moved to Zagreb to attend the Faculty of Foreign Trade, where she graduated four years later. Immediately after completing her studies, Cvitešić began working at Karlovačka banka as an independent foreign exchange officer and later as a senior foreign exchange officer dealing with the economy. In 1991, she became the head of the Dinar and Foreign Currency Savings Service, and a year later, she was appointed head of the Sector for Citizen Affairs. In 1995, Cvitešić was appointed a member of the Management Board of Karlovačka banka responsible for the Accounting and Reporting Sector and the Sector for Citizen Affairs, and she also took on the role of Deputy CEO. Five years later, she was entrusted with the position of CEO of Karlovačka banka. She concluded her career at that bank as a member of the Management Board and as a Management Advisor. Sanda Cvitešić continuously improved her skills in all areas of banking throughout her career. She underwent training in strategic planning, international payment transactions, bank credit rating assessment, effective shareholder management, creating optimal portfolios, corporate governance, sales skills for bankers, and effective communication with clients, and in 1999, she passed the professional banking exam of the Croatian National Bank.
