According to the “Research Yearbook for 2007 for Austria and Central Europe” recently published by the independent research analysis firm “AQ Research” based in London, the research team of Erste Group has taken the top positions for recommended investments in Austria, Poland, and Central Europe.
The Erste Group’s strong equity analysis team has secured a leading position: they achieved first place for recommended investments in stocks on the Polish market, as well as in Central and Eastern European countries, and second place in Austria. In the overall assessment based on the highest hit rate among all participating institutions, Erste Bank has made significant strides for the calendar year 2007.
The well-known research by AQ Research was conducted for the third time this year in the Austrian market and four Central European markets, examining recommended investments (sell/hold/buy) from 28 analytical firms regarding 45 companies. This indicates that the public is paying increasing attention to the growing importance of Central Europe as an investment and development region.
