With this year’s adoption and subsequent amendment of the Law on the Management of the Register of Leasing Objects, leasing companies were required to submit all data related to the provider and recipient of the leasing service, the type and object of leasing, its value, and the duration of the leasing contract to Hanfa.
The data has arrived at Hanfa, and the Register contains 125,000 contracts, or 140,000 leasing objects. Access to the data, but only regarding the leasing object and the duration of the contract, will be available to everyone on Hanfa’s website, and it will be accessible from the beginning of next month. It will be searchable by five categories, depending on whether the information sought pertains to a vehicle, vessel, aircraft, machine, or other equipment.
After that, the identification number will be entered, which, for example, for a vehicle, is the chassis number, after which information about the year of manufacture of that vehicle, type and brand, as well as model and type, and the expiration date of the leasing contract will be obtained. However, Hanfa warns that this date may not be final if, for example, the leasing company has a dispute with the leasing user due to non-payment. But for such cases, Hanfa will not be responsible. Therefore, it is anticipated that there could be half a percent of data that is not entirely accurate. (L. K.)
