KIM in a new tender at the same price

At today’s meeting of the Management Board of the Croatian Privatization Fund, a decision was made to announce a new tender for the sale of KIM, with offers to be collected within thirty days.

Given that there has already been interest in KIM, the price in the tender will not change. However, the text of the tender has been clarified in other elements, stating that the new owner must retain employees, but only those who are employed on a permanent basis and for a period of two years. Furthermore, since the collective agreement has not been signed, the future owner should adopt the existing Work Regulations before its signing. The future owner is also given the option not to retain the entire current assortment of KIM.

KIM has been granted an extension for the repayment of a loan of 2.3 million kuna until the end of March next year. At the same time, a new loan of six million kuna has been approved, which will be used to pay salaries, repay debts to contractors, allocate part for packaging, and other payments.  One bidder responded to the tender for the sale of the company Meiso from Goričani, but did not meet the tender conditions, and the same happened with Adriachem from Kaštel Sučurac. Given that no bidding documentation was purchased for the share in the Grain Processing from Grubišno Polje, it was decided that in the next tender the company would be offered at an 80 percent discount.
